Most of the time my 2 - year old doesn't even want to seat
in the
stroller, so I take it with me
just in case she wants to take a
nap or needs a diaper change.
We'd play at the playground, and when it was time for his
nap I'd put him
in the
stroller and
just walk around until he fell asleep.
We have no backup desperation
nap plans like cars, swings,
stroller and we
just have to do all of the
naps in the crib.

just hope this happens before my infant wants to
nap in the
stroller...
Or depending on how young your little one is, they can be very content
napping in the car seat or
stroller (
just don't make it a regular habit or they won't like sleeping
in the crib later on IMO).
I'm not sure if she's getting too much waketime before that first
nap... I usually go walking with her
in the morning and often she'll fall asleep
in the
stroller and when I get home I'll put her
in bed, but I've also tried nixing the walk and scheduling
just an hour or so of waketime so she won't be as sleepy going down for a
nap and she still rises early.
He also
naps happily
in his car seat, carrier,
stroller, etc, so being held is not really necessary,
just something we do as a form of bonding and cuddling.
Get some exercise every day (even if it's
just going for a walk with your baby
in his
stroller), eat healthy foods, and squeeze
in naps so you're getting enough rest.
