just normal paint below them?

painted on them depending on which company sponsored the particular countries team.
In terms of
painting, you can
just use
normal primer, but I would go for a rust inhibiting one (e.g. those sold by Bilt Hamber, Hammerite and others)- If it has started rusting there, there is a reason for it (usually stonechips), so you might as well try and prevent it reoccurring.
Does it assume that everything in the car is basically in perfect condition,
just old, or does it assume the
normal kind of wear and tear a well maintained car of that age would have, like small oil leaks, worn out shocks, minor dings and dent or slightly faded or oxidized
paint, etc...
The
paint tends to chip rather easily with
just normal use.
Well, watercolour
paints certainly -
just the
normal ones you may well use already.

To answer your questions, I rarely use oil based
paint and usually
just use
normal interior
paint for furniture because it dries quicker and doesn't have strong fumes.
Also, that chipping is «totally
normal and
just part of having
painted cabinets».
But we
just used
normal paint.
