If our device could be moved close to where it is needed, but still
on the energy producer's
side of that
equation, yet
just outside the meter, then the energy producers could have millions
of these small devices that they own and operate, because grandma doesn't want to become her own utility company because she has a solar panel, but if the utility companies and energy providers could compete with each other to have small units that are so close to the loads, they still get the full advantage
of being a supplier
of energy, except with
just millions
of little plants, they can avoid needing transmission lines, distribution lines, substations, et cetera, that everybody is talking about being expensive, unreliable, and subject to issues.
That demand - supply
equation just doesn't seem to be part
of the campaign dialogue,
on either
side, it seems.
I don't know about you guys but before I had kids, I was one
of those people that rolled my eyes every time a baby cry and I
just didn't get it, but now that you're parents, you're
on the other
side of the
equation.
In my experience, the majority
of people that I treat for pelvic floor issues have muscles that are
on the short
side of the
equation, rather than
just being weak, and this can manifest in many different ways:
Dealing with either
side of this efficiency
equation has no historic precedent, and districts are unlikely to focus
on these issues
just because funding is cut.
But, here's the real rub for those
of us who still hold
on to quaint notions like that old autonomy - accountability thing: you can't
just mess around with one
side of an
equation.
Just slide the 2 double -
sided wooden boards into the base, then encourage students to solve
equations by lining up the correct number
of beads
on the addition and subtraction
sides or follow the patterns
on the color - matching
sides.
It is much easier to simply be a security analyst that looks at the quantitative
side of the
equation with
just a few cursory inputs
on the business
side.
I am in the do nothing camp as doing the opposite would
just result in losing money
on both
sides of the
equation.
With the GPU
side of the
equation less likely to cause a potential bottleneck and with the game simulation completely unlocked, you get some idea
of just how much latent CPU power there is
on a well - specced PC, with Battlefield 3, Tomb Raider and BioShock Infinite able to run at frame - rates up to and over 200 fps.
With nuclear power, it was more than
just nuclear accidents that featured
on the «risky»
side of the
equation.
And,
of course, the information is
just as wanting
on that
side of the
equation as well.
Training, mentorship and coaching are all elements
of a solution but these efforts are all focused
on just one
side of the
equation — the associates.
Just focusing
on one
side of that
equation may cause you trouble, especially if you lean heavily
on the cost
side.
They are obviously more focused
on the commerce
side of the
equation, but, at their roots, they are answering users» questions and searches,
just as we are.
