just plain cocoa?

It's a super easy variation on my
plain 2 - ingredient waffles —
just some oat flour,
cocoa powder, almond milk, and protein.
If you want, as well, you COULD
just use
plain unflavored nut butter for this and some
cocoa powder.
Just double check the label, but most
plain cocoa powders on the market should be free of dairy and vegan.
Plain (the exact recipe), Strawberry (with a little GAPS - friendly strawberry jam in the middle), Chocolate (
just added a bit of
cocoa powder), and Lemon (added lemon zest).

Just be sure you choose
plain and unsweetened
cocoa or raw cacao to get the best form possible, (though I admit personally do love a darker, Dutch - processed
cocoa powder myself!).

just poured in a significant dab of molasses — used vinegar - soured whole milk instead of buttermilk — used white whole wheat flour instead of AP — used
plain ol' Hershey's
cocoa — then went a Mexican - inspired route with the additions of ground ancho powder, cinnamon, and ginger
If you have dark hair but don't want to use
cocoa powder in your hair,
just use
plain arrowroot and apply before going to bed the night before or at least 2 hours in advance so that it has time to absorb and you won't get the fake - gray - looks - like - a-wig look.
They blend easily and are fabulous in
just plain water — cold for a refreshing «shake,» or hot for a soothing, cozy «hot
cocoa» - like treat at bedtime.
