Just as universities do not require women to
share rooms and showers with men in college dormitories, heterosexual personnel should not be forced to interact with homosexuals without recourse to other
living arrangements available to most civilians.
Just one example might be a house or condo complex with several private bed / bath areas but a
shared kitchen and
shared living / dining
room (and, while we're brainstorming here, a
shared beachside Jacuzzi and infinity pool.)

We had one, when she was born; and there it sat in the
room that she
shares with her big sister, unused, taking up space that was really needed for other things, because it was easier to
just change her in the
living room floor, on the couch, on our bed — wherever we happened to be when we needed to change her.

The
living room, dining
room and kitchen
share a color scheme of light turquoise walls and pale stone floors that echoes the hues of the water and sand
just outside, set off by crisp white trim.
Inside this informal home is a
shared living - dining - kitchen area, a private master suite, two bedroom suites each with two twin beds, and,
just inside the front door, an office converted into a cozy bunk
room with two twin - size bunks.
Come stay in this open concept 2 story home, with large
living room, dining, kitchen and a half bath on the entry level, and 2 bedrooms, each with a queen bed and a
shared bath between them on the upper level.This unique property affords LOTS of privacy, yet it's
just a short drive to town or the beach.
Studio guests have private key card access to The
Living Room, which is a
shared private lounge that boasts a bar, two large TV screens and comfy seating for hanging out, reading a book or
just enjoying a drink before dinner.

Just what is it that makes today so familiar, so uneasy?
Just as I wrote in «Conflict of Code: What we do about the Elelephant in the
Room», one tiny house dweller said, «It's the elephant in the tiny house, we
share an unspoken secret about
living self sufficiently in small paces.
There's no doubt that you can get more for your money outside of the capital — for # 400 a month in London you might
just be able to afford a tiny
room in a
shared flat, whilst in Yorkshire, the same amount could nab you a two bedroom house in Huddersfield town centre — understandably disheartening for those trying to scrape their way through
life in the big city.
But I
just wanted to
share that in a nursery it is ideal, if not a
live - saver, to have something that gets the
room pitch dark when you want it — like at every single nap time and bed time.
This concept was previously

just what I needed to jump back into
life after the holidays!

share that I recently bought a wall unit for my
living room.
Just found your blog and was excited to see this post:), I had never seen your stacked log fireplace before but we thought up and tackled something similar over in our

Our new
living room curtains are cream linen with a rusty red stripe, the cushion right next to me as I type has the same colours in a different stripe, the shower curtain's striped, two of the rugs are striped... the only thing I love
just as much is to mix stripes, plaids and florals which all
share the same colours and tones, for a carefree feel that doesn't clash and jar.
