Most of the time, you will simply
just spam attacks and do finishing moves using the Oraclos at any given time.
To make things fair and more of a challenge you can't
just spam these attacks, as doing so would break the ring (and cause you to wait a certain amount of time before you can reuse that ability).
You can
just spam attacks during the first few matches but that won't work in subsequent matches.
Or perhaps it's to do with the removal of the combat's rhythmical flow - you can now
just spam the attack button.
I found myself button mashing most of the time as I wanted to use different moves in order to change things around a bit — I can see people easily resorting to just using the moves once for the trophies and then
just spamming the attack button in order to take out the enemies — there is nothing wrong with this but you will probably find it a little repetitive if you don't experiment.
There are combos that can be performed in the game but are never needed as you can simply
just spam attack buttons or down the enemy back with a shield bash.
Not exact matches
I've
just been conditioned by years of
spam, spoof emails, viruses, ransomware and other hacking
attacks that always seem to start with a kind invitation from those parts of the world.

spam just one «program» among others that runs on the platform alongside things such as key cracking (breaking passwords and encryption), clickfraud (automated «clicking» on ads to increase revenue to the ad host), identity theft of all kinds, and DDoS
attacks — and potentially much more.

Fans of the old system might not like that the game is slower, or that they can't
just cheese the game by

Giving players one - button abilities like a warping dash or projectile
attack is
just asking for Stone
spam, especially when using these Infinity Surge abilities charges up game - changing Infinity Story sequences.
Just remember that positioning and observation are key, plus the AI won't let you
spam the same obvious
attacks.
Blocking can still be
spammed a little too much encouraging those people that love to
just block and throw the occasional
attack leading to some boring fights and the AI in Arcade mode is pretty bad for it as well.
The enemies themselves, while a lot of fun to fight, don't really require you to switch up tactics, either, which in turn again means you might find yourself
spamming the same
attacks or
just button - mashing your way through it all.
It was
just as fulfilling and fun to
spam hundreds of tanks and mow down enemies, as it was to plan your
attack carefully while coming up with cunning tactics for a precision
attack.
You can't
just pick an
attack and
spam it whilst the enemy does nothing — they will have some kind of pattern but sometimes they can start to do things at random so you must always be on your guard and able to spot a weak point and use it to your advantage.
If you're
just spamming the X button to
attack and don't have a Paradigm that is well suited for battle, you won't receive a good rating.
This was made worse when fighting characters such as Mihawk or Bartholomew Kuma, who would often
just spam their long range
attacks — making it difficult to gain ground on them.
I
just spammed dodge to avoid any incoming
attacks, and when one punch finally came towards and subsequently missed my face the game goes into slow - mo and lets my let rip.
I'm sure it'd feel like a super action star moment if done right, like a John McClane or Rambo flying through enemy gunfire to take out your opponent, but Touhou Kobuto's sluggish controls make me feel like I have to
spam a button
just to get a single
attack out that ends up missing.
The hook basically works like a stiffer version of Modern Sonic's homing
attack, while all the weapons are
just overpowered moves that you can
just spam on mindless enemies who stand in place and pose no real threat.
Along with all the gameplay fumbles, the level design is nothing special, and the boss fights are particularly unmemorable (
just catch up to them and
spam that homing
attack some more).
