BTW, lemon works
just as well as lime, and any
toasted nuts will do, from
sunflower seeds to cashews.
I used my favorite base recipe and pretty much
just added
toasted sunflower seeds.
This is a spring pantry purge, so don't feel stymied by my almond / buckwheat /
sunflower seed / pepita combo —
just toast up whatever you've got on hand!
I
toasted the cereal and gram flour (and
sunflower seeds for the peanut version, or walnuts for the pistachio one) on a dry frying pan until fragrant and
just lightly browned, for about 10 minutes.
Spread oats,
sunflower seeds, almonds, wheat germ, coconut, and flax
seed on a baking sheet and
toast in oven, stirring 3 to 4 times, until
just barely browned (about 15 to 20 minutes)
You literally
just roll the goat cheese log in salted and
toasted sunflower seeds then drizzle with sweet honey when you are ready to serve.
Toast the
sunflower seeds on a parchment lined sheet tray,
just until lightly
toasted (about 5 min.)
