I'm still working all this out in my head, but as a woman who has grown to accept her ambitious spirit rather than resist it (perhaps because of my upbringing, perhaps because of Dan's influence and support, perhaps because of that whole Enneagram
Type 1 thing), I offer
just a few observations that I hope we can discuss further in the

Few months back I considered myself a rabid AOB sort of a Piers Morgan

We are lied to constantly by a manager struggling to come up with new excuses, and I notice earlier
comments mentioning the «Offside Goals» at the city game, Yes they were offside but we have to legislate for this
type of thing as does EVERY OTHER TEAM, blaming the ref for EVERY failure is
just not working anymore.
Because, we are careless about these
type of games, the Dumber One of Manchester United, after explaining to Nasri that his pre-match
comments were «misconstrued» s now come out again to say «he was right about those
comments» that Arsenal is a training ground, UNLESS someone in the media, for lack of what to write, is being «mischievous»
just to rile Arsenal players and fans.
I
just read all these
comments with a
type of relief / sadness.

just read what I
typed guess what the typical reply would be, most of them immeiately PERSONALIZE a
comment they don't like rather than keep it generalized and, ot that they'd say «oh, you can't generalize»....

I didn't mean it so much as your article gave off that vibe, I definitely noted you mentioning several times that it isn't a massive factor for you, it's more that I was on a bit of a cycle of reading these
types of articles combined with the
comments to the article the consensus I picked up was the majority was on the side of «if he can't pull in a big wage his compassion and caring side count for nothing» and that
just makes me feel like there's a slight double standard that exists with certain things.
