I use the exact same method for my Homemade Oat Milk, but
just use walnuts instead.

Made the bread tonight as per the recipe book «ml» and «g» measurements, and subbed in
walnuts for almonds because that's what I had —

walnut and kidney bean spread... Yummy Think I need a touch more salt but I'm always a bit worried about over seasoning... I
used mixed herbs but think I would love to add some garlic (powder maybe) next time, and
use selected herbs rather than the commercial mix.
Dear Michelle, I was
just going to make this recipe however my husband is allergic to pecans (and
walnuts nad hazelnuts) so I was wondering what to
use instead.
The second time I soaked the dates in boiling water to soften them and then I
just used a blender stick to blend the dates with sweet potato and maple syrup (much easier than a processor) I also made a budget version and
used regular cocoa powder, 1/2 honey 1/2 maple syrup, no pinenuts -
just 1/2 cup of coconut flour and 1/2 cornflour, I also added chopped
walnuts.
so, I
just made these... I had to sub some things — I
used maple syrup instead of agave nectar, I had pecans and almonds (no
walnuts)... I added some ground flax seed — these are yummy, yummy, yummy!
But I reckon I could make these muffin - style Love
walnuts — I
just bought some so this is a great excuse to
use them!
Try
using peanuts instead of
walnuts for a different flavor or
just leave them out completely for a nut - free recipe and you'll still have a delicious spread.
I
used rum emulsion instead of bourbon,
just because I don't have bourbon, but I do have rum emulsion; I also
used unsalted butter so added 1/2 tsp salt to the mix and I added 1 cup of toasted
walnuts — because I
just have to have
walnuts in my banana bread.
Add carrots and
walnuts if
using, and fold together until
just blended.

just leave it plain.
I've
just made these muffins but replaced the
walnuts with pecans and I
used 8 dates and no stevia.
I
used 3 very large bananas, all ww flour,
walnuts, and only cinnamon and nutmeg (not sure how much —
just eye - balled it).
For the topping I
used just chopped

Ok the first time I made it I
used 4 med / large bananas and the end product turned out a little too undone / wet so I tried it again with 3 bananas, and I
used a 1/3 cup of pure maple syrup, added some

I
just made this loaf for Easter dinner — didn't have
walnuts so I
used pecans and almonds; subbed more oat flour for the breadcrumbs, and completely forgot the flax egg... Whoops!
I simplified this recipe even more in a lot of ways, by
using frozen bagged carrots, peas, and corn instead of celery and carrot, I skipped the sautéing part and
just mixed the raw onion and garlic with the mixture, I skipped the
walnut toasting part and
just added it in, I did all my chopping in the food processor, I
used the food processor to grate the apple and
used an apple instead of apple butter in the sauce and
just processed it til it was slightly chunky.
In fact, even though the filling for these Butter Tart Squares
uses either raisins or chopped
walnuts, you can
just as easily
use chopped pecans to emulate the pecan pie.
I also prefer to not
use soy, and while I can get real raw imported almonds instead of the pasteurized US almonds, I normally
just make milk with pre-made cashew or
walnut butter since I can make it in a matter of minutes instead of hours.
Whisk in the buttermilk then,
using a rubber spatula, stir in the remaining flour and finely chopped
walnuts,
just until combined (do not over mix or else your bread will be tough and chewy).
This isn't really a recipe, but
just take 1/4 -1 / 2 of your avocado and blend (or mix with hand mixer) it with a splash of oil (I

used walnuts, as I prefer to save pecans for baking, but since I didn't have any, I

used walnuts to replace pecans in the past often,
just because I usually have
