Bullet to the Head is a wasted opportunity to make something quite interesting and worth your time, but instead it
just takes bits and pieces to create something that
in the end is not worth
watching because the
film lacks a good story, effective action and more importantly good performances and interesting characters.
(Oddly enough, that shopping spree makes The Apparition only this summer's second most Costco - obsessed
film, after The
Watch, which stopped short of featuring a scene

In fact, anytime I see a
film with people inside a building — whether it's a log carbin, a fortress, a castle, a school, etc. — being charged by terrifying outside forces, I hold on to the arms of my theater seat for dear life,

film in order to understand what I'd
watched onscreen.

in director Tim Miller's first
film, the stakes were low and refreshingly simple — it was enough
just to
watch Reynolds do his wink - wink - nudge - nudge thing and chop some up some bad guys while talking smack about Hugh Jackman.
As the
film begins, Brady has
just suffered serious head trauma
in the rodeo ring, and we
watch in horror as he dresses his wound, removing the bandage and covering his head

I had plenty of fun
watching the beautiful mayhem that occurred

film but i cant help but feel it was
just another fun movie that will be forgotten over time.

just watch their exchanges the entire time, but the movie around them is also beautifully constructed, particularly
in its evocation of Forties
films that also were tributes to psychoanalysis and related to Surrealism.
It's
just one of those quirky «locked
in the closet»
films that isn't so much about
watching people tearing down the walls but bouncing around them
in such a funny manner it works.
If a science - fiction historical epic starring Michael Fassbender and directed by Justin Kurzel isn't something worth

film just looks like it's pandering to the religious folks
in the room and those
just aren't the kinds of movies that I like to
watch.
None of these ad campaigns tell you what you need to know about how good these
films are — they are
just shiny, happy carrots dangling out there
in hopes that, if they're happy enough, or make you feel happy enough, you
just might
watch the movie.
