I stay in the UK, and am unable to find bread flour or high protein flour - is
it just white bread flour?

white whole wheat
flour with the
white bread flour,
just to add a like wholesome goodness.
There is a recipes on the Pamela's website for
white sandwich
bread and they don't add any xanthan,
just use the
flour blend as is since it has guar gum in it.

Flour in Norwich, VT and was so hopeful that the
bread we would make in the class would be better than the usual gf
white bread.

just posted a GF
bread post (www.tablavie.com) last week and for those who don't want to spend a lot on
flours, one of the
breads I featured only uses tapioca
flour and
white rice
flour.
Daniel Leader feels that plain
white flour is
just too tasteless for many
breads.
Eating out tip: Most restaurants do not offer 100 % whole - wheat (a lot of «wheat
breads» are made with both whole - wheat and
white flours) so it is best to
just avoid things like
bread,
breading / breadcrumbs, crusts,
flour tortillas, etc..
If schools made that one small change, simply replace whole wheat (or even better, multi-grain)
bread for all of the bleached
white flour products sold in school lunches,
just that one change would make a real difference.
I have not tried this particular soda
bread recipe, but I have
just tried one from River Cottage website which I made with
just 500g of
white bread flour, 2 tsp of bicarbonate of soda, 1 teaspoon of fine sea salt, and 400 ml of soured milk by adding 2 1/2 tbs of pure lemon juice to 400 mil of milk, whisking in and standing for 20 min.
While traditional
breads are baked using
white or whole wheat
flours, paleo approved
breads can be made
just as easily by using the very popular paleo ingredient; almond
flour.
Again,
just follow the recipe for
white or brown gluten - free
bread but instead of using a loaf tin, using a large wet spoon, neatly place heaped tablespoons of the
bread mixture onto a greased and
floured baking tray.
