I can see sweet potato,

white bits are lol... is it one of your recipes or

just followed the directions to a tee and used
white quinoa, they still seem kinda crunchy.
I
just put some
Quinoa in my Rice Cooker and I put it on «
White Rice» setting.
I noticed that the red
quinoa needed to cook a bit longer than the
white, so
just be mindful of that if you only have red on hand!
If you are unable to find black
quinoa, don't fret; this salad works
just as well with
white or red
quinoa.
As an alternative, one can use a rice cooker to prepare
quinoa, treating it
just like
white rice (for both cooking cycle and water amounts).
Anything would be healthier than
white rice but when trying brown rice (and even
quinoa), disappointingly it didn't come out smooth and thick... But I saw a Korean cooking show on TV... and tried
just barley and water..

just before summer slipped away — not that you couldn't make these in any season...
Do you
just use the regular «
white rice» setting on your rice cooker for the
quinoa?
Beyond
just comparing antioxidant content, there's experimental evidence to suggest that pigmented grains such as red or black
quinoa, or red, purple, or black rice has benefits over
white or brown.
You can use
just one grain like
white or brown rice or multiple grains — brown rice, daliya,
quinoa or bulgur.
You
just pop the Mockmill on the attachment screw of a stand mixer, place your grains like
quinoa, rice, sorghum, even beans or nuts, in the
white shoot, adjust the head of the Mockmill to the fineness or coarseness you want for your flour, turn your mixer on and the grains are stone ground right into the bowl of your mixer.
