rather the science of continual micro improvement that the UK cycling team developed based on the Japanese
Kaizen system.
It's more down to
Kaizen and the very Japanese way of life I feel,
rather than a straight pursuit of perfection, although it could be argued that both are one and the same.
Rather than find ways to build the basics of lean thinking into the business, companies started with
kaizen events.
