You can easily turn it into a mocha frosting that would complement the cake nicely by adding a few teaspoons of
espresso powder and you can also add some mini chocolate chips in
keeping with the theme.
And you'll want to lick your fingers clean, too, because the glaze includes
espresso powder (one of my favorite ingredients to
keep around) and sugar.
I used Organic instant coffee
powder for the coffee flavour but you could use strong chilled
espresso or even coffee extract if you want to
keep this completely raw.
The pudding, as well, was a fantastic morning wake - up call and the combination of malty maca, rich cacao
powder, and intense
espresso really gave me the boost I needed to
keep going all day long.
I used
espresso powder, which is supposedly stronger than instant coffee granules so
keep that in mind if you want to use regular instant coffee.
