In addition to fruits I always
keep fresh berries at home in the summer and frozen in winter and in between what I can find that is preferably grown locally.
This food storage tip is an easy and simple kitchen hack for
keeping fresh berries mold - free using items you probably already have in your house.

For this post, I
kept it simple with
fresh berries and maple syrup, but here are some of my favorite combinations:
Keep the plastic containers your
fresh berries come in from the store and use them to store your
fresh herbs.

Keep dessert simple too; fruits with dip or
berries and cream are light,
fresh dessert options you can easily incorporate.
I
keep breakfast balanced with local, whole milk sheep's yogurt, Vital Proteins, and some
fresh, local
berries (because they are currently in season and SO good).
Using frozen
berries keeps the drink icy cold (and allows you to make it when
berries are out of season), but if you prefer to use
fresh, just add a couple of ice cubes when blending.
In addition to the cartons of
fresh blueberries that I
keep in my refrigerator — my freezer is stocked very well with frozen blueberries (and other
berries) that I use for my smoothies.

Fresh cranberries can last much longer than most
berries and can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 1 month if
kept in a tightly sealed container.
You can also use other kinds of
berries, I also LOVE the raspberry version, but try to
keep it simple since it's the combination of the creamy coconut milk and the
fresh berries that work the magic!

My goal for this compote was to

Choosing various shades of nude, mauve, and

To
keeps things simple in the morning I opt for a quick egg scramble, but my other favorite (and extra quick) breakfast is non-fat Greek yogurt with granola,
fresh berries and a little drizzle of honey!
