I'd say for the
frozen food, always
keep some
frozen veggies like peas and spinach and a good brand of packaged
organic cheese tortellini or ravioli in your freezer.
For those nights when washing and chopping just aren't in the cards, I
keep an assortment (broccoli, peas, corn) of
organic frozen veggies on hand.
I pack a
frozen organic yogurt tube in my kids lunches — by the time lunch rolls around, the tube is ready to go and has helped
keep the rest of the lunch cool.

For the shakes that I make myself, here are some things to
keep in mind if you try it... A good source of quickly digestible natural carbs such as
frozen bananas, pineapples, honey, or
organic maple syrup are perfect to elicit an insulin response that will promote muscle glycogen replenishment and a general anabolic (muscle building) effect.
These are
freeze dried and
organic, so they have greater nutrients
kept intact.
I recommend buying
organic frozen chopped spinach and kale and
keeping a few bags on hand.
Use
organic mulch but don't mulch until the ground is
frozen; remember that it doesn't
keep the ground warm, but it
keeps it
frozen.
