While I readily admit I'm not the most organized or scheduled person in the world (far from it), I do have a few simple routines that help
me keep my house clean enough and get me through my busy life in a somewhat balanced manageable way without losing my mind (you may have read about some of my daily routines in my Four Daily Routines post).
I use a similar system to

You already know about the four daily routines I use to
keep my house Clean Enough, but I have a secret little ritual that takes house cleaning from something I would rather avoid to something almost pleasurable.
Not exact matches
I try to
keep cleaning to a minimum around here and would be concerned about that with so many little boys in this
house, I already have
enough to do!
Fast forward 15 years and I've
kept the perspective that our
house can be
clean enough.
I LOVE LOVE LOVE a
clean house and strive to
keep our home
clean (
enough), but the tasks required need to fit into the time I want to devote to homemaking and I often need to be inspired to want to do them.
One thing I've learned over the years of trying to
keep up with several kids and pets in our home is that if you really want to have a «
clean enough house» like I do, you need to find ways to be very efficient and make it a habit to
clean as you go.
Up next is the
house tour... though that ones a little harder since I have to
keep an entire room
clean long
enough to take pictures and all.
Oddly
enough, the most difficult room in my
house to
keep clean is the dining room.
It's hard
enough to
keep the
house clean, let alone finish all those projects quickly.
It was very
clean and well -
kept enough to move right in and start adding our own personal touches throughout the entire
house.
My goal is to
keep a
clean -
enough, comfortable, welcoming
house while planning our daughter's wedding... in less than 9 weeks!?!
