The meter, which seems to be rather fair
in the early
stages, screams for players to
keep an eye on it at all times
in the midst of one of the
game's boss fights, as you never know when you'll need to draw Kirby an escape route
in the heat of battle.
This could be with different levels or
stages utilizing certain mechanics
in order to be able to progress like wall climbing / wall jumping levels, Score attack or time trial
stages, even minigames add some different to the mix that
keeps gamers playing the same
game over and over.
In order to

game fresh, Nintendo began releasing free DLC with new items and playable
stages along with its regular balance updates and gameplay tweaks.

The soundtrack

game is one of the best that I have heard this year and does a great job of
keeping the
stages feeling fresh and exciting.
Player and enemy units boost around with ease, and as
stages go on, the
game keeps the pressure on, sending
in enemies with heavier weaponry and more aggressive tactics.
And that's what you need to
keep in mind while reading this part of the article — the
game is
in its early alpha
stages and things can (and will) change drastically from what I say here.
On the other hand, planning too far ahead is sort of a waste of time
in the later
stages, as the trucks
keep smashing into each other
in unpredictable ways, but the chaos is part of the attraction of the
game.
The classic
game of «Cops and Robbers» where each teams needs to
keep killing the opposing team
in order to proceed to the next
stage, the more
stages you push through, the closer you get to victory.
While the constantly changing mission requirements
keep the
game from becoming the simple, «
keep running right until you get to the end of the
stage,» that most other
games in the run n» gun genre are, it's also one of the
game's greatest weaknesses.
With incredible 3D and 2D platforming gameplay and 45
stages to conquer Armillo will
keep you coming back for more, while the responsive controls and nearly flawless audio - visual presentation will immerse you
in the
game's amazing world!
Just
keep in mind that the difficulty does severely ramp up during the later
stages and that it's not a
game for the faint hearted.
Turf War, the
game's most commonly advertised mode, tasks two teams of four with covering a
stage with as much ink as they can
in the span of three minutes, all while
keeping their opponents at bay.
Arcade fans will get a kick out of the Easter eggs within the title, and the various
stages and modes will
keep gamers busy
in - between the larger titles
in the fall.
Please
keep in mind the names may differ
in the final version of the
game so we've included a picture of each along with what we think the name of the
stage could be.
The
game houses five missions
in total — with ten
stages in each of those missions — and I «got caught» 1686 times by the time I saw the end credits roll if you're
keeping track.
It's sure to be one of the
game's most understated and overlooked aspects, but
in a
game based around challenge and retrying
stages again and again, a good soundtrack goes a long way
in keeping you engaged
in the proceedings.
Video
games have evolved through many
stages of change since their inception, as gaming trends have undergone shifts
in keeping with consumer demand.
Of course, the presumptions could be wrong at this
stage, but we'll be
keeping an eye on things,
in the run up the
games release on PC, PS4 and Xbox One
in May (13th).
Currently
in it's pre-alpha
stage of development, there are sure to be more changes and tweaks to come
in the future;
keep this
game in mind for it's highly challenging, yet addictive, gameplay.
