I am fortunate enough now to not have to worry

as I used to about how much we
spend at the grocery store; but I hate being wasteful and I usually
keep my
spending in check (unless of course I am at Whole Foods while hungry,
as another commenter said!).

as a debit card.
You might also find simply tracking your
spending in a notebook to be a viable on paper budget, or
keeping close
spending records and using your debit card or
checks as you prefer.
Keep in mind that this tool will not incorporate things such
as checked baggage fee waivers, and airport lounge benefits - it calculates value based on bonuses and rewards earned from
spending.
That's not to say you shouldn't
keep your
spending in check, but you are more likely to reach financial freedom by seeking out more income streams
as opposed to using coupons at the grocery store.
Keep it
in a savings or
checking account (or your underwear drawer), where you won't be tempted to
spend it on everyday purchases, but where you know it will be for when you have that emergency (a broken TV doesn't count
as an emergency).

It's a little different on how you select what you would like to play nowadays, instead of just a menu you now have Headquarters which is an interactive hub where you can select everything, for instance, if you go over to Major Howard you can select your daily / weekly orders upon completing these you will receive supply crates, armory credits or an XP bonus, you can also
check your mail for any collectables that have dropped or go to the quartermaster to
spend / purchase your CoD points along with
spending your armory credits on contracts etc on top of this you have multiple other areas to visit such
as training areas and prestige, I'm not going to go into too much detail, it's a nice touch
keeping things more interactive instead of a boring menu we used to have back
in the day.
