Many of The Family Puppy USDA - licensed dog
kennels have violations to the Animal Welfare Act noted on their annual USDA
inspection reports.

State
kennel laws apply to every
kennel that keeps 26 or more dogs over the course of a year, and all of the
kennels in the Winfrey / Ling
report clearly would require state licensure and, at a minimum, at least two
inspections a year.
Brown's
kennel, Wolf Den, was inspected twice a year by the agency and had satisfactory
reports until December 2008 when it was rated unsatisfactory in seven of 26 areas, according to the
