ketchup, brown sugar, ginger and garlic, and vinegar.
This
recipe is great without the BBQ sauce — just sub a little extra

but certain things I just haven't gotten around to DIY - ing: mustard (although I have a great

on IG gifted me with),
ketchup, mayo, and previously: hot sauce.

on out, the rest of the
recipe can be followed pretty much to a tee, except that I use organic
ketchup, organic sugar, you get the idea.
Now that the burgers are ready, you can serve them as you wish, in a bun or salad... or what I liked doing is creating a non-traditional
recipe and I created Burger Stack — stacking the burgers
on some grilled slices of eggplant with kale, pickled red pepper, vegan mayo, grain mustard and organic
ketchup.
I had a Fry's Family Traditional Burger served
on a seeded burger bun with
ketchup and coconut sugar caramelised onions (
recipe coming soon), two Linda McCartney Vegetarian Sausages, salad and these crispy fat - free potatoes.
Made both the mushroom gravy and the tomato
ketchup recipe... If you have leftovers, this loaf makes a great sandwich

I surprised myself a bit, especially since I've been
on a «baked» kick lately: see my
recipes for crunchy oven baked chicken nuggets with honey mustard sauce (sooo much better than the fast food version), and oven baked rosemary steak fries with homemade
ketchup that go with just about any main dish.
Two
ketchup tips: if kids will be partaking, consider going easy
on the garlic and cayenne; and use frozen tomatoes to make the base tomato paste (see
recipe on page 66).
