I have been diagnosed with frontal lobe epilepsy at 52yo I have tried to do the
Keto diet
on my own and my
Cholesterol level has increased..
I wonder if the increased intake of fats (SFAs)
on the
keto / low carb diet are causing this, as I have changed nothing else perhaps by increasing total
cholesterol?
AND staying
on keto for a long time may lead to kidney stones, liver issues, high
cholesterol, constipation, slowed growth (in young people), and bone fractures.
