in January with a full size SUV with a usable third row), traveling with four
kids, what happens if my husband has to start traveling for work, getting the big
kids to and from school with two babies
in tow, how the big
kids are going to feel once there are two new babies
in the house, how I»M going to feel with two more babies
in the house, and so on and so forth.

Going to the store with
kids is like gambling... you never know if you're going to win big or lose everything you had to begin with (like your sanity), so why would you chance it by having to go to the store to buy
diapers when you can be perfectly safe and comfy buying them
at home, online,
in your pajama's... or underwear.
Maybe it was because I had two of them to train
at once, maybe it was because the idea of worrying about finding a bathroom
at a moment's notice when we're out
in public freaked me out, or maybe because having them
in diapers was just so much easier (albeit, you know, kind of icky), but I really had no desire
at all to push potty training on my
kids.

I would say just talk to them about the potty read up on babycenter about the different things to help the process along because even if they are not talking that much they still may give off many non verbal clues of having to go potty.However if they are really not ready try potty training keep a onesie on

diaper before you.My dd is 19 months as well and I have been training her sort of by letting her sit on the potty I have only let her use the one that goes on the big toilet but she peed
in it once and she often will say she has to pee when
in the bathroom but will sit and not do anything and get little pieces of tissue off the roll and push it into toilet this is her renditon of wiping even though the tissue does not really come
in contact with any areas that need to be wiped I have slacked off on the training because she can not pull her pants up and down which is on the list of things
kids need to be able to do to go by themseleves.Maybe just get them a few books and videos and a potty chair and talk to your dd's and see what happens you may be surpised.HTH

After
kids, I must start preparing
at least an hour
in advance to get everyone dressed, deal with any tantrums and outfit battles, feed the baby, pack up sippy cups, snacks, outfit changes, extra
diapers, a sling for the baby
in case he fights the stroller, and get us all out the door.
For eight blissful weeks my daughter stared up
at the ceiling (just
kidding, she screamed) while I changed her
diaper on that solid piece of furniture, the only thing
in my home that felt sturdy and trustworthy after eight weeks of sleep deprivation.
