kids at home, we would try to turn the ordinary into the extraordinary, just for the experience of it all — gingerbread house kits

It's been more than thirty years since Jesus turned everything right - side - up for my folks and I felt the weight of that choice
at the table that night, watching all this little
kid crew, another generation, all perched around my
kitchen table by the light of candles
in the darkness, telling us grown - ups all the things we already knew about Jesus.
Between lunches for the
kids, my office lunch, and my husband's lunch, we're still hard
at work
in our
kitchen packing healthy lunches.
Green Smoothie bowls are a regular visitor to my breakfast table (who am I
kidding, there is no table
in this equation, I eat breakfast standing up

kitchen as I prep for shoots, or sitting
at my desk while editing photos... but that's another story altogether).

kids, we used to climb it and sit amidst the cherries for hours, only coming down

in a natural

kids use knives and limit them to only butter knives or safe cutting utensils until
