One of our favorite resources is Coyote Point Environmental Museum just down the road here, as their
camps get very creative w / same, using «bandannas» that the
kids can also use for hikes and such, playing into the «no trails, no trash
left behind» tred lightly earth ethics...
Sadly the timing of the interview was 30 minutes before my
kids were done with
camp so I sat outside a Panera (to get the wifi) in a hot car (the airconditioner would be noisy) so I could be there for as much as I could before
leaving.
With the «free play at the park»

We like to go car
camping with our
kids, and it is a challenge with aip to fit our gear and food in the car for longer trips, especially since my
kids tend to be constantly hungry anytime we
leave the house.
