Full disclosure: I live where it's sunny ALL THE TIME, and while my
kids have
winter coats, I can count on one hand the number of times they actually have to
wear them in a year.
This is only my problem in the
winter, because in the summer, I get to hang my laundry out on the line (read: get to spend 15 minutes alone outside in the sunshine), so I often search for clothes to wash and my
kids are like, «I haven't even
WORN that yet»!
The seat is also very wide which can get useful during
winter months when
kids wearing thick coats.
During the

kids wear extra clothing, including sweaters and heavy
winter coats, these extra layers can pose another «hidden hazard» as you try to use your child's car seat correctly.
Oh, and
kids would no longer be made to

winter clothes to lunch — the time for getting dressed would be taken out of their recess instead.
I live in Houston, and while we do experience a few bitter cold snaps here every
winter, it's temperate enough that some (stubborn)
kids are known to
wear shorts year - round.
Whether it's because they don't want to clean up, because they want to have ice cream for breakfast at 6 am, they want to
wear a bathing suit when it's below freezing or a

kids start whining, a mom can really hate motherhood.

Our daycare is really warm, so we used snowpants to
