But just having that support, we were dealing
with some
sensory issues
with my son, and no one in our family, none of our friends had ever seen it or maybe their
kids have it, but they haven't been identified yet, and so I felt like it was just this uphill battle, and I didn't have the type of support I needed.
Many times,
kids with autism, ADHD, and other developmental disorders have issues when it comes to
sensory integration and processing, making this kind of extrapolation of problem solving even more difficult.
