fields which had grain crops sprayed with round - up herbicide etc. is EXTREMELY COMMON IN THE GROWING PRACTICE FOR REGULAR POTATOES... very common practice... so even if you peel»em deeply... they are still soaked with round - up... the glyphosates get in the gut... the aluminum which is all over everything grown above ground and not covered (hot house etc)... gets eaten9ya can't wash it off... unless ya peel everything... but greens etc. ya can not get it out... it gets in the fiber)... then ya eat it... it goes in the gut... mixes with the glyphosate... becomes 10,000 timesmore toxic... inhibits the bodies ability to properly process sulfur into sulfide and sulfate... basically many very smart researchers are sayin'this is the cause
of all this asperger's... autism... alzheimer's like symptoms in the elderly... you can only take so much nano... pico... and heavy metal poisoning... the brain starts to act very strangely... so... long story short... i eat lots
of sweet pots grown on clean soil... they are non-gmo and basically grown organically... but... the grower doesn't pay for the certification... i make sure to get my omega 3 from fresh ground flax seed in the morning away from my sweet potato consumption... the omega 6 in the sweet pots inhibits the absorption
of omega 3 and i only want so much fat daily... i'm on the heart attack proof diet by dr. caldwell b. esselstyn jr....

of imagery they're supposed to allow for kinda transcendental experience either in the
color field of a painting that's like the Barnett Newman painting or to be lost in the

colors and textures and things in a totally abstract - looking picture.
While it was around this time that Frankenthaler's canvases began to achieve a lightness — a
kind of openness that allowed the composition to breathe — it was in the 1970s that the artist had moved away from the literal and figurative landscapes seen in her early work, such as the celebrated Mountains and Sea from 1952, and towards a more emotional and expressive representation
of Color Field paintings where she developed a new sumptuousness and sensuality characterized in the present work.
Díaz points to a work called «The
Color Field,» which consists
of a very large canvas painted bright yellow behind a white shelf
of green, orange and blue crepe paper flowers, the
kind you might find in any Mexican market.
Unfortunately, what this
kind of ripping, cutting, dropping, and rubbing action connected me to were aspects

of Thomsen's work is that she is not coming out
of an Anglo - American point
of view as in «
Color Field» abstraction — the term that displaced Clement Greenberg's more complex notion
of «Post-Painterly Abstraction» — but from an education in Germany that allowed her to evolve in a more qualified direction, as opposed to the
kind of fashionable quantifications to which American higher art education has finally succumbed.
I approach the painting as a vital
field of color energies, yet my paintings are made
of shapes, strongly contrasting
colors, edges
of all
kinds.
Its water - soluble chemistry allows for the
kind of dreamy washes that
color fields and abstractions often rely on, while its water - resistant setting state is anchored and dependable.
In most cases this is a simple pixelated star
field with some
