I always have frozen berries on hand for a go to
smoothie but MUST start adding spinach to get some
greens in I always hate that «day after coming home and nothing to eat»
kind of fridge.
Many people do lose weight when they consume
green breakfast
smoothies but that's often because that
smoothie is replacing some
kind of processed food.
It tastes, like most
green smoothies do,
kind of earthy, in a freshly cut vibrant
green grass way, which totally doesn't sound yummy, but actually really is.
It's easy to throw in a cup
of spinach into any fruit
smoothie, but this is more than just a cup
of one
kind of green.
I use the unflavored
kind and add it to all
kinds of things —
green smoothies, overnight oats, raw desserts / treats, etc..
I'm thinking
of putting together a post that outlines how to make the ultimate quinoa burger (
kind of like this

I have been doing
smoothie for my 20 month old, and i usually put some
kind of green in there, or an avocado or bunch
of carrots and chia seeds and then some frozen fruit.
When I hear
green smoothie, it has this double effect on me: on one hand it means clean eating and I

Smoothies....
I developed a system using strategies that included weekly food prep, daily
green smoothies, and a balance
of protein, the right
kind of carbs, healthy fats and important nutrients like fiber and phytonutrients.
I personally rotate between a couple different
kinds of protein powder for variety (the body needs different amino acids, just like it needs a variety
of micronutrients from
greens - so don't just put only spinach in your
smoothie every day, got ta mix it up!).
For all
of my
smoothies, I like to ensure that I have some
kind of green or veg in it.
Green Smoothie is
kind of a health drink with amazing healthy qualities.
I ate my steaks, fish or chicken with lots
of all
kind of raw salads (
green veggies, tomatoes, cucumbers, etc), all
kinds of 2 minute cooked cream soups, eggs, bacon, Ezequiel bread,
smoothies with soy milk, eat lots
of walnuts, pistachios, natural dips with raw veggies.
I'm more
of a simple, 5 ingredients or less
kind of gal (and to be totally honest, I would rather spend hours juicing or creating
green smoothies).
It's also good for these type
of recipes since it's not a *
green * tasting powder (which I also love but more so in
smoothies, not in these
kind of recipes).
I prefer the taste
of fruitiness as opposed to an earthy vegetable taste, like the
kind you get from a kale
green smoothie, for example.
