I have made her Brown Sugar
Oatmeal Cookies 100 times and loved every bite but, this is just a different
kind of cookie with a few small changes.
And inspired by these
oatmeal cookies from Flourishing Foodie, I added not one, but two
kinds of oats: quick oats to absorb more moisture and keep the
cookies thick, and old - fashioned rolled oats for hearty flecks and a bit
of chew.
These
oatmeal cookies are extra spicy and perfectly soft and chewy — plus they're packed with three
kinds of dried fruit!
These were tasty (
kind of like steel cut
oatmeal with all the fixins in
cookie form) but a little work - intensive for just 9
cookies.

The oats give a great
oatmeal cookie kind of flavour which goes wonderfully with the peanut butter and chocolate.

oatmeal and dried fruit), but thinking about the
kinds of cookies that I would buy rather than make, I can't fathom the amount
of effort that would go into making thin chocolate wafers and buttercream frosting to make a homemade Oreo.

Kind Diet 1 cup
of quick - cooking rolled oats 3/4 cup all - purpose flour 1/3 cup sugar 2 teaspoons baking powder 1 teaspoon baking soda 1/4 teaspoon fine sea salt 1/3 cup real maple syrup 1/2 cup canola oil 1 teaspoon vanilla extract 1/2 teaspoon molasses 1/4 cup finely chopped walnuts 1/4 cup raisins or other dried fruit Preheat oven to 350 F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

kinds of foods... curry,
oatmeal,
cookies, breads, tea, chai tea and more.
