It took a lot of research and tons of trial and error, so I wanted to share my DIY Projects and lessons learned with all of the brave DIYers out there, so whether you're looking to enhance the look of your house through architectural mouldings (wainscot paneling, casing, crown moulding, etc.), install new flooring, or transition
your kitchen or bathroom cabinets this is for you.

kitchen or bathroom cabinets.
Not exact matches
If you want more complex changes, such as changing the
cabinets in the
kitchen or installing a new
bathroom, your renovations can cost thousands.
Easy to use child proof
cabinet and drawer locks for example can help keep little hands away from cutlery in the
kitchen,
or medication in the
bathroom.
Child safety locks are cheap and effective, and fit on any number of
bathroom or kitchen cabinets and doors.
I challenge you to hit the
bathroom counter,
cabinets, under the
kitchen sink, etc and get rid of all the chemical filled products that aren't good for you
or your skin!
Or I picked up some over the
cabinet door hand towel holders from the dollar store that I use in the
kitchen but would also work in your
bathroom.
However, if your
kitchen or bathroom layout just doesn't work
or your
cabinets are beyond the point of resurfacing, it may be time to consider a full renovation.
While there are limitless options for improving a home, here are five options you can choose that can cost $ 1,000
or less: Upgrade the lighting, replace the front door, improve the
kitchen cabinets, enhance the
bathroom fixtures
or get a deep clean.
Cleaning supplies may look like enticing dog toys to be opened
or chewed on, and many people keep them in the
cabinet under the
kitchen or bathroom sink.
The
kitchen has been renovated with custom
cabinets and fabulous appliances, it boasts a very large master suite, all
bathrooms have been either gutted
or upgraded, the lighting has been redone with downlighting on dimmers, the floors have all been redone and much, much more.
When the weather drops below freezing, home owners should open
cabinet doors in a
kitchen or bathroom that has plumbing on an outside wall, and turn on faucets to allow hot and cold water to drip.

It's not at all uncommon to find toilets that are not securely bolted to the floor,
bathroom and
kitchen vents with unattached ducts, gas
or air conditioning leaks,
cabinet doors that don't align evenly, loose shower heads, garage doors that don't close properly, and... well, you get the idea.
Smaller projects, including painting
kitchen cabinets or upgrading a
bathroom sink, sometimes come close to paying for themselves by increasing the value of your home, which can translate directly into a higher asking price when you sell.

You could also try painting an entry door, accent wall,
kitchen cabinets or the base of a
kitchen island, a

or bottom half of wainscoting, she says.

Bathroom water damage from an overflowing bathtub, sink,
or toilet * Damaged stone, carpet,

So, what can I do in my home to downplay
or work with the wood that is everywhere —
kitchen cabinets, bookcase, windows,
bathrooms etc?
Medium oak
cabinets in the
kitchen bathrooms and «linen»
cabinet at the end of the hallway will be painted some white
or light in keeping with the style of my house plus my choice in floor color (can't be hardwood but I'm learning toward wood - look porcelain tile similar to what Kate at CentsationalGirl did in her Nevada home.
Our washing machine and water boiler are placed in the
kitchen, cause in the
bathroom I barely managed to place a little
cabinet, 35 cm wide, so I do nt even have a dishwasher
or a proper table with two chairs in the
kitchen.
