In my past
kitchens, I even
took the doors off an existing cabinet to create open
shelves!
I have big plans to put the finishing touches on my closet room (and
take photos for a reveal post), get some serious organizing done in my
kitchen, paint the boy's bathroom and install some
shelving, as well as spring yard work.
The copper
shelves in the
kitchen have been looking neglected ever since we
took Christmas stuff off of them, so I filled in the gaps with some... stuff that I like.
The open
shelving in this
kitchen by designer Lisa Kanning
takes up as much wall space as cabinets would but instead of hiding plates and glassware behind doors, the
shelves keep everything on display and easily accessible.

took the door off another cabinet in my
kitchen.
The activities included in this folder are; ♦ Writing / Spelling name ♦ Doing the laundry Putting dirty washing and detergent into the washing machine, transferring clothes from washing machine onto the washing line, then off the washing line and into the basket ♦ Matching socks ♦ Putting items away -
kitchen v garden ♦ Grocery shopping - 2 different levels Finding items on your shopping list,
taking them off the
shelves and into your trolley.
Then I went through the
kitchen and into the hall and pulled on my old pea jacket,
took the torch from the
shelf and went out onto the steps.
They assist the head cook in performing various duties such as, cutting and preparing ingredients for the dishes on the menu, cleaning and cutting vegetable and fruits, preparing simple food dishes, sandwiches and salads, cleaning the
kitchen utensils, cleaning the store room and gathering the order from the waiter, collecting the order from the
shelves, making arrangements for waiters to
take the food to present to clients, storing food ingredients in a cold place to prevent it from damage.
My
kitchen is still a work in progress but the old oak cabinets will be painted white and the cabinet to the right of the sink above the dishwasher and between the window and patio door will be
taken down for open
shelves (another inspiration from your last
kitchen).

Maximize vertical space
Take advantage of wall height by adding tall bookcases, cabinets or
shelves, or by hanging hooks for jackets in the hallway, clothing and toys in a child's room or pots and pans in the
kitchen.
The shutters are actually just painted cupboard doors (that I
took off my
kitchen cabinets to make «open
shelves») but «shutters» sounds so much more classy and cool.
Here, an island unit offers the perfect space for this clever
kitchen storage idea — heavy glass bottles are best located close to the floor to
take the pressure off
shelves and prevent any damage if dropped.
Homeowner Christine Hanlon originally envisioned rustic open

I can't quite see what's going on on the wall behind the cooker hood but since the hood already juts out there, putting cupboards or open

take some away from around the window.
