After rescuing the 1 week
old kittens from the United Healthcare parking lot and bottle - feeding them, they have now
grown to be 4 year
old strapping young men.
At 7 - 12 months
old, your
kitten is
growing into adulthood.
We have seen time and again how many hundreds of dogs, cats, puppies, and
kittens simply need one time or short time medical care, or time to
grow a little
older, in order to then live a long and healthy life.
It is also very important to rescue or in the case of
older kittens that would be very difficult to tame up to at least neuter and return them as left in an unneutered state they too will be capable of breeding from four months
old and a feral cat colony will rapidly
grow.
If the
kittens are not rescued, they will themselves be capable of breeding from four months
old, and a colony of feral cats rapidly
grows.
The
kittens may initially spend about eight hours a day suckling, but this activity decreases as they
grow older.
Puppies and
kittens can
grow and change a lot as they go through young adulthood, but with dogs and cats that are a year or two
old, you'll know how much exercise they need, how they are with other animals, their full
grown size, and more.
Other fosters are needed to hand feed (or syringe feed)
kittens to ensure they are
growing until they can eat on their own, and to provide TLC and socializing to
older kittens.
The one we kept has been eating it since he was
old enough to eat solids and between this and the Pro Plan dry
kitten food he's so healthy and big (not fat, just well
grown) at 6 months
old.
Small: (Approximately 6 months
