For me these alternatives are things like switching jeans for cigarette trousers, swapping my standard
knitted jumper for a silk blouse and sophisticated neckerchief (which also doubles up as a super cosy scarf too), mixing a chic skirt and thick tights into the mix every now and then (I love this one), throwing in a
jumper dress for good measure (almost as good as PJ's I assure you) and finally, mixing and matching my outerwear to keep it fresh.
When looking to
dress up a
knitted jumper but aiming to keep things understated at the same time, pairing it back with a black leather skirt is an excellent idea.
