I'm still a very basic
knitter: nothing fancy
like entrelac or Fair Isle is happening here.

like socks and the tops of hats, most
knitters learn to knit using multiple double - pointed needles.
Plus you can find out who else is similar knitting projects, join groups of
like - minded
knitters, and revel in the community.
I also enjoyed her name Kelly with eager hands... Sounds either
like a mad
knitter or a sexual predator...
Knitting with bulky yarn can be a lot of fun, but some
knitters don't
like working with these big fibers.
As we have been talking today about spinning your own yarn, although it's not strictly about knitting or crochet, I thought it would be appropriate to talk a bit about spinning, for those
knitter and crocheters
like myself who fancy going that step further along the path of creating your own unique garments from scratch, how good would that feel to spin first the yarn that you knit!
I wouldn't ever tell a non
knitter about all the mistakes, but I feel
like it's important to be honest on the blog about when things don't go smoothly - it happens to us all, right?

knitter.
I would have
liked to get on and do all the things we had talked about doing — visiting the lavender fields and that infamous trip to Shetland in a minibus with all the other «mad
knitters of Lampeter».
I'm not a
knitter myself, but my sister crochets from vintage patterns and has made similar comments about the challenges of using them (
like a lack of detail about hook or yarn size to use).
