It motivates me to dig deeper into what
I know about scripture and to try to understand Ms. Knust's POV, and to let it challenge me to widen my perspective of the issue.
You may
know about Scripture, but you don't live it, your words give you away.
As a Baptist minister, the older I get... the more I study Scripture... the less
I know about Scripture and about God... and the more I teach the simple basics: Man is a sinner in need of a Saviour and guide for both this life and the next, «Come.»

I think Christians, in general, don't
know jack squat
about the gay lifestyle / community nor do they really take the time to understand... their
scripture says this and that's all they need (blatant ignorance — but that's life)... even those
scriptures are up for contention as noted earlier by Trey.
Since young adults perceive evangelical Christianity to be... «unconcerned with social justice», it's a shame that more evangelical churches don't
know about the Just Faith program, which provides «opportunities for individuals to study and be formed by the justice tradition articulated by the

Even my literalist friends will say

scripture to argue that women are «less than» I have to shake my head because surely they

scripture in the new testament that says «God is the same yesterday, today, and forever» Mormons do nt spread lies
about other churchs they say is you want to

Considering that it took the Church
about 300 years, long after they had made up their minds
about theology, to start picking

known copt of the bible has over 27,000 «corrections» written all over it, how can you be sure that the New Testament isn't full of false doctrine to begin with?

about RAPE and has NOTHING to do with the loving saved respectful relationship of a gay couple as we

know about God is what is revealed in Nature, hence «Natural Revelation,» and
Scripture, hence «Special Revelation.»
