about it.

know the answer to this question, I will ask it anyway as I am concerned
about a fad in my community in Costa Rica where people have obtained low production sugar cane presses to obtain the water, glucose /
fructose, minerals etc. from fresh cut cane sugar and drinking it with purported health benefits.

It might just be that you are sensitive to these fodmaps and there are charts, I'll link to one in the show notes for folks listening in where you can go print a fodmap chart, slap it on your fridge for a week, and avoid the foods that are high in fodmaps so we're talking
about foods typically like foods that contain a lot of
fructose, a lot of melons, you
know unfortunately in the summer are high in fodmaps, dairy is high in lactose part of fodmaps, a lot of legumes like kidney beans and baked beans and stuff like that, no surprise there.

fructose going to liver cells and glucose going to muscle cells!
Similar
fructose increases have been reported in healthy volunteers who consumed
fructose loads between 0.5 and 0.75 g / kg34 and in individuals who consumed
fructose - sweetened beverages with mixed meals.35 Leptin and ghrelin levels were indistinguishable following acute ingestion of glucose or
fructose, a finding possibly attributable to the short time interval of observation; leptin levels typically change 4 to 6 hours after glucose administration.36 Although
fructose was previously reported to be less effective than glucose in suppressing ghrelin, such differences may be attributable to the different conditions and timing of ghrelin measurements.10 Little is
known about the acute PYY response to
fructose ingestion compared with glucose ingestion, although 1 study in rats found higher rather than lower PYY levels after 24 hours of glucose but not
fructose feeding.11 Whether such disparities are related to study design or species differences remains uncertain.
If you
know anything
about IQS you will
know that the Program is primarily directed at reducing excessive
fructose — scientifically, one of the three basic types of sugar molecules which are the basis of more complex types of sugars — in the diet.
These are the people who got off their butts 30 or 40 years ago and decided to do something
about the declining state of our food supply — such as the white bread so far from real food that you could ball it up and shove it in your pockets for a snack later next week, the jam
no longer made of real fruit but a mixture of high -
fructose corn syrup and food coloring, and so on.
