know about their career options and what type of workers high - tech companies are looking for.

You need to let them
know all
about their
options within the organization — and how those opportunities stand to advance their
careers.
However, before considering such alternatives, you certainly need to
know more
about these potential
career options.
They also would be helped by
knowing more
about the range of
options for trained life scientists, such as
careers in industry, entrepreneurship, government and science communication.
It's important to learn as much as possible
about career options but also to keep in mind that «
no matter who you ask, you're going to get a biased answer.»
It often shows itself in the form of negative or self - defeating self - talk like «I can't do that job because I'm...», or «My skills aren't...», or even «I can, but I'm not as good as...» And before you
know it, you're making unwarranted (better yet, inaccurate) overgeneralizations
about yourself that cause you to have a rigid attitude
about your
career options.
We have also just started to extend our work into primary schools, as we
know that the earlier we engage young people in thinking
about their
career options and meeting positive relatable role - models from the world of work the bigger the impact we can have.
So with the economy in better shape, you
know, young people who may have been thinking
about a teaching
career just may have more
options today.
While this may raise some eyebrows from people who are concerned
about the ethics of working with two distinctly different types of authors, most of Red Adept's clients for both traditional and self - publishing assistance
know before they contact the company which route to publication they plan to follow; more and more authors are heading into their writing
careers seeing either route as a viable
option.
And this echoes what many of the people we interviewed said, in two ways: first, they said they didn't feel prepared by law school to have a full appreciation of the
options out there and wished they'd
known more
about the variety of
career options when they were younger.
