The reality is that very few employers
outside of academia will really care or
know the difference between a perfect thesis and a good thesis.
Choosing a career
outside of academia is daunting, and not many academic advisers
know much about the positions that exist or how to be competitive for them, so I guess I'm mostly thankful for postgraduates in nonacademic positions for sharing their knowledge!
Everyone who calls themselves a scientist is in the area
of «science» — but only some
of them are «skeptic scientists» — and indeed, there are many
outside academia or otherwise areas
known as «science» who are «skeptic scientists».
