I
order laab at Sripaphai all the time as well, but would love to be able to make it at home.
Add a pinch of salt and
mix laab well to combine.
Choose from any of the stalls lined up next to one another
serving laab, a spicy mixture of finely chopped meats eaten in lettuce cups with fresh herbs.
You may have seen larb gai /
laab gai (lettuce wraps with chicken) on Thai menus.
You can stick with the small dishes section, sampling pan-fried leek buns scented with curry or
spicy laab over bone marrow.
It was
fish laab and super fresh, delicious and authentic.
I
order laab (ground pork version) at Sripaphai (the # 1 ranked Thai restaurant in NYC!)
so i think i made the something between pad krapow and
the laab thing you refer to in the comments above because i made this tonight with dry chili instead of fresh.
