The conditional $ 371 million purchase of Australia's largest
land holder S. Kidman & Co by China's Dakang is a mere snapshot of what is to come.
The deal, which could be in the order of $ 400 million, comes just as the board of Australia's largest
land holder S. Kidman & Co entered into a $ 371 million deal with Chinese group Dakang to sell its entire business covering more than 10 million hectares.
He was not perturbed by Australia's rejection of a Chinese buyout of Australia's largest private
land holder S. Kidman & Co. «We are a private company, funded locally,» he said.
