Bardarbunga is Iceland's
largest volcanic system, located under the ice cap of the Vatnajokull glacier in the southwest of Iceland.

Scientists at the Pacific Northwest National Laboratory and the Bonneville Power Administration think underground porous rocks produced by
volcanic eruptions could be used as a
large battery
system.

large - scale pyroclastic activity is possible along even the deepest portions of the global mid-ocean ridge
volcanic system.
They think that the only way for global - average temperatures to change is for the climate
system to be forced «externally»... by a change in the output of the sun, or by a

«We modelled sulphate aerosols which is sort of an analogue for when you have a
