I got to the
very last dungeon, failed once or twice at the end boss and then was ready to move on to DS and leave GBA behind.
and i simply chose not to complete
the last dungeon so the file didn't get wiped out.
That last dungeon was atrocious - it hinged on a silly sliding square puzzle that you don't even need to solve to finish the dungeon... what's the point?

the last dungeon in The Wind Waker.
The last dungeon is over half the size of the entire overworld.
Only
the last dungeon has an extreme difficulty spike and for my taste too many puzzles that it got annoying, especially after dying that you had to redo some of the puzzles.
Although the difficulty is a bit unbalanced (too easy in the beginning, too difficult in
the last dungeon) and the weapon configuration could be better, Reverie can be seen as a love letter to New Zealand and recommended to all inhabitants of Vita island.
Especially in
the last dungeon, where many puzzles rely on different tools, the weapon changing became annoying.
It ultimately means that even some of
your last dungeons won't challenge you, and for a Zelda game that's a bit of a letdown.

I'm playing
the last dungeon in Skyward Sword.
I must have played about 10 times over (BTW, there is a way to get trapped in
the last dungeon if you don't take enough keys / mattocks with you... beware!
Maybe the best example of what I'm talking about would be Super Mario RPG, where the first and second - to -
last dungeon are both Bowser's Keep.
A neat gift but it would be more useful before finishing
the last dungeon.
Additional depth to the side quests could help strengthen it, or even requiring them to be done before finishing
the last dungeon.
Dengeki magazine said that the disc one will contain prologue, first chapter,
last dungeon and final chapter while disc two will feature multiplayer and the rest.
In fact, my issue with the game is that I seem to lose interest in it right around
the last dungeon whenever I replay it, for whatever reason.
