For his most recent exhibition, which ended last month at David Kordansky Gallery in Los Angeles, he presented found images, like a set of early headshots of the actor Anthony Perkins smiling while holding an armful of milk and juice cartons, as well as a set of charcoal drawings presented alongside small sculptures that looked like bed frames.

Last night, the PRISM gallery on the Sunset Strip hosted a group exhibition «Come As You Are» in conjunction with New Image Art and RVCA.

Now as a follow - up, McGinness and the museum will open «Studio Visit» on January 25, 2014, a three - part exhibition, the first gallery will provide a glimpse of McGinness's studio practice, the second will display a selection of the objects McGinness chose from the museum collection alongside his sketches and final image, and the last portion will show early works the artist made while growing up in Virginia Beach.
Dwyer Kilcollin, b. 1983, lives in Los Angeles Manipulating 2D imagery via algorithm, Kilcollin has garnered attention for her hand - cast relief sculptures that fuse the virtual and material worlds — like her sculptures that recently graced a hillside of Los Angeles and M+B Gallery, where images of city views took the shape of a book, binoculars, and a sweater, or the backpacks she debuted at the Armory Show last spring.
