They are supposed to care about finding those save points, and care that they are in constant danger from zombies and that if they die,
the last save point was a really long time ago so it's going to be a big deal.

The only way to escape this is by using the Flammie Drum, which, unless you're revisiting this palace later in the game, you're going to have to reset and start from
