Studies included in this review indicated that the involvement of school administrators in teacher leader selection is beneficial, but did not examine aspects of administrator involvement that contributed to
the later effectiveness of teacher leaders.

latest research suggest about the impact
of teacher effectiveness on student achievement?
For our
teachers and school leaders, it means being committed to learning about the
latest tools, applications, and digital content, and engaging in the professional development needed to maximize all
of their
effectiveness.
The
effectiveness of teachers in service may not correspond with their
effectiveness at the time they were trained, and it is certainly plausible that the impact
of training a year after graduation would be different than it is five or 10 years
later, when a
teacher has acculturated to his particular school or district.
As a research school, it gets money to help around 150 other local schools, by putting on events to spread the
latest research, training
teachers and helping them to evaluate the
effectiveness of classroom innovations.
