laundry room is
on the
side of my house and should have had a window but the original owner didn't choose that option.
I would have to say our
side entry which is also our
laundry room and pantry area... it's a multi-task
room where things that are to go outside end up
on the countertop as well, oh did I also mention my husband insists keeping some handy tools here as well?
On the right
side of the
laundry room we planned to add a long counter area, with one two door cabinet and a large open shelf under the counter, with similar wooden shelves with brackets (that will act as our pantry) above and to the left of the counter.
What you don't see in those pictures is that the other
side of the
room is a complete mess with stained carpet and
laundry piled
on the table.
Storage and organizing solutions in a
laundry room can and should be practical, but if ever there's a chance to express your experimental and
on - trend
side, this is it.
My dream would be a separate
laundry room with it's own door, so I can use our clothes line, and a mudroom / entrance
on the other
side of the house.
