our laundry room upstairs near the bedrooms a couple of years ago.

I've read some different ways of making the tea but, for me, my
laundry room (really, it's a closet) is
upstairs so I just walk over to the bathroom, run the hot water in the sink, put my soap nut bag in a coffee cup that is always sitting on my dyer and fill my cup.
11 am - Baby down for nap, start on folding

room 230 pm - Straighten and organize baskets to use for mobile changing station and nursing items 245 pm - Mom awake from nap, Baby wakes at same time, to feed.

rooms I would LOVE some help with and actually have a small budget to do the work I have a library that is freshly painted but needs the shelves and a window seat built in and some chairs placed... I have an
upstairs living
room that needs new furniture and wall paint because it is the friend entertainment center for 2 teenage girls and one wants an updated look (she just got a new dresser, desk and chair for her bedroom from maru at urbanfarmgirl, to give you an idea of her clean style) and then I have the longest running project ever, the
laundry room, that needs beadboard, a painted wood floor and a work area for momma.
I don't have one because my
laundry room is
upstairs, but I do love clothes dried on a clothesline..
My
upstairs hallway is dark, and I too have to remember to open my
laundry room door to brighten up the space!
My main goal this year is to complete the decluttering of our bonus
room, adding molding to the lower half of our dining
room walls, painting the kitchen & breakfast
room, do an overhaul on my
laundry room and downstairs bathroom, painting and accessorizing the stairway and
upstairs landing and that is just the biggies.
For one thing, I don't want the
laundry room in the basement any longer nor do I want an
upstairs bedroom without an
upstairs bathroom.

Our house is rather unique — our family
room has a much higher ceiling then the rest of our downstairs and to compensate, one bedroom (we use it as a media
room) and our
laundry room are 3 steps above the rest of our
upstairs.
I was thinking to have rhinestone in the entrance, hallways and kitchen and
upstairs washrooms; big chill in the living and first star in the bedrooms and main floor half bath and
laundry room.
I loved my
upstairs laundry room until I returned from a vacation to discover that the hose into the washer had split and had been spraying water for over a week.
Hi Melissa — When you said your
laundry room was
upstairs I just had to write to remind everyone to TURN OFF THE WATER SUPPLY to the washer when not in use.
There are three bedrooms
upstairs: a queen with attached bath /
laundry room with walk - in shower, a king, and another queen with attached half bath.
We are sticking around celebrating birthdays, getting a few projects done around the house (details in our
upstairs bathroom and hopefully sampling some paint for our
laundry room) and having some friends over for dinner.

My next projects are to paint the walls in our
laundry rooms and to paint our
upstairs bathroom cabinets.
