Recipe: Stone Fruit Salad with Lemon -

Beyond the simplicity of natural sweetness, there are other flavor elements that marry so beautifully with summer berries: floral notes, as in the
Blueberry Lavender Syrup, and acidic notes that draw out the flavor of strawberries in the Aromatic Rice and Pearl Barley Salad.
I made the strawberries with lemon sugar and
lavender syrup (with creme fraiche) to go along with it.

I ate them with lavender honey and «devonshire cream», I mixed plain yogurt and some cream cheese, and
lavender syrup and added some of the honey in, too.
Did you know that Torani has a Rose and
Lavender syrup?
I would especially love to try
the lavender syrup.
I used the Blueberry
Lavender syrup (obviously) and gave it a little taste before mixing it with my lemonade.
