This week AAA announced it was asking members to push the 2012 Florida legislature to adopt stricter
laws against texting and driving.
Many states have specific
laws against texting and driving, but not all states have specific laws in place just for texting.
Several states have
laws against texting or using a cell phone while driving, and you could be fined even if you don't cause an accident.
While cell phone use while driving laws differ from state to state, most states have
laws against texting and driving, and prohibit the use of electronic devices for teenage and beginning drivers.
